Dr. E Shoots First Music Video / Lectures on Video Coming Soon

Hello! I'm taping all my lectures, and I'll be mixing them soon. Last week my friend Vaughan Penn called me and said she needed a music video asap. I've been her photographer for a couple years, so I figured it would be fun. We shot a lot of the video in downtown Durham yesterday--I'm shooting it 16:9 widescreen at 30 fps to give it a warm film feel. We're shooting some more tonight at a club. Vaughan will be speaking to the class in the next couple weeks, and then we'll all go shoot the final scene together, with students serving as extras if they wish. :)

The song is Ready to Rise--it was the theme song for Laguna Beach, it was heard on Grey's Anatomy, and it is now the theme song of A&E's Roller Girls.

Vaughan is an artistic entrepreneur in the truest sense. She writes and produces all of her own music here in NC and sells it to Hollywood.
